UNEMPLOYED?  OUR CHAPTER STIMULUS PACKAGE

If you are currently unemployed and seeking a career in an environmental field, the GFL Chapter of A&WMA will waive the cost of local membership (a $20 value) and cover the cost of your attendance at our monthly chapter meetings for one year in order to allow you to network with other environmental professionals. To take advantage of this offer, you will need to let a board member know of your employment situation prior the first chapter meeting you attend and you will be marked as "paid" on the attendance sheet. You will not be asked for payment at the door of the chapter meeting. It is imperative that you let a board member know beforehand however, as the representative collecting funds at the door will not be empowered to waive fees. Please be aware that the board will periodically check on your employment status.

In exchange for the costs of membership and monthly meetings, the Chapter expects that the individuals receiving these benefits will take full advantage of the networking opportunities offered and become active participants in the Chapter by volunteering to assist with the Chapter's various functions and committees.
